Smoked Salmon Porridge
Comfort food perfect for the young and young-at-heart!
|8 cups||Soup stock|
|2 sprigs||Spring onions, finely chopped|
|Salt, as needed|
|Pepper, as neeeded|
|Sesame oil, as needed|
|1||Drizzle sesame oil on the smoked salmon. Arrange the salmon pieces on a plate, and top it with spring onions.|
|2||Wash and slice ginger into thin strips. Set aside.|
|3||Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes.|
|4||Transfer the rice into a pot, pour in the soup stock and bring to boil.|
|5||Lower the heat and simmer gently till cooked. Season with salt, pepper, and ginger.|
|6||Place the smoked salmon on the side. Serve.|
Add in shallots and poached eggs for extra flavour!
