Thai-style Beef Salad
Begin your healthy eating journey with this flavourful meat lovers’ salad recipe.
|2 tbsp||Groundnut oil|
|1pc||Red chilli, sliced|
|1 tbsp||Brown sugar|
|85g||Baby leaf salad|
|140g||Red grapes, halved (optional)|
|1||Rub steak with 1 teaspoon oil to season.|
|2||Fry in a hot pan for 2-3 minutes each side, until it’s medium rare.|
|3||Transfer to a plate, cover with foil loosely and let it rest for 5 minutes.|
|4||Make the dressing by mixing lime juice, chilli, sugar and remainder oil. Mix until sugar dissolves.|
|5||Divide salad leaves, bean sprouts and grapes between serving bowls.|
|6||Thinly slice steak and add the juices to the dressing.|
|7||Toss them together and serve.|
This recipe can be served room temperature and it works well with grilled chicken or lamb too!
